As WCD Chile embraces Sandra’s leadership, we extend our deepest gratitude to Kathleen Barclay, who led the chapter previously. Kathleen led the Chile chapter for many years with unwavering commitment and exemplary leadership. We thank her for her drive to pursue WCD’s mission and wish her well as her board journey continues.

In her professional career, Sandra has had deep experiences in IT, finance, management, and corporate governance. She is passionate about technology, education, and innovation as key pillars of the sustainable development of our society. Throughout her various roles, Sandra has contributed to the transformation of private and public companies as well as government agencies.

Sandra was recognized as Chile Executive of the Year in 2019 by Entrepreneur Women and Capital Magazine and three times as one of the “100 Women Leaders in Chile” by Entrepreneur Women and El Mercurio newspaper.

Sandra’s vast and impressive experience has primed her for her new role within the chapter. When asked to share how she felt about taking on this leadership role, Sandra shared,

“As I embrace the role of Chair of the Women Corporate Directors Chile Chapter, I am filled with excitement and a deep sense of responsibility. This position is more than a role, it is a definitive call to action. It is an opportunity for me to further broaden our network of remarkable women directors and enhance the representation of skilled women in boardrooms.”
