If you are a female and currently serve as a corporate director on either a publicly traded company (of any revenue size) or large privately-held company or family-owned business with a minimum annual revenue of US $100 million, you may be eligible for membership.

International chapters may have a different minimum revenue for private and family business companies, depending upon the country.

WCD’s advisory board and leadership are responsible for regularly reviewing our membership, ensuring our benefits are world-class and pursuant to the needs of our distinguished community of women corporate leaders.

WCD Membership Criteria
If you are a female and currently serve as a corporate director on either a publicly traded company (of any revenue size) or large privately-held company or family-owned business with a minimum annual revenue of US $100 million, you may be eligible for membership.

BoardNext Membership Criteria
If you are a female senior corporate executive with board aspirations and are not currently on a publicly traded company board, or a privately-held company board that has at least $100 million in revenue, we encourage you to apply for BoardNext, a membership with chapters in Los Angeles and New York that provides educational training, introductions to board members and search firms, as well as a peer group network. WCD is committed to maintaining an active and open line of communication with our community. Members will be notified of new benefits through our exclusive online portal and email.

The application process includes completion of a membership application form and payment.

When applying, you will be able to confirm your eligibility and directorship experience and pay the initiation fee if applicable.

Once your application has been submitted, the chapter chairs of the chapter you are applying for will review and approve your application. This process usually takes approximately ten business days.

New WCD applicants in the U.S. will be charged an initiation fee of $1150 USD.

New WCD applicants of international chapters will be charged a regional initiation fee + an annual fee. Please contact us to find the membership rate for your region.

New BoardNext applicants will be charged an initiation fee of $650 USD.

The WCD fiscal year runs from July 1st to June 30th. However, you are eligible to join membership at any time throughout the year.

Yes! WCD's Corporate Board Membership program is a membership for your board's women directors.
