Dear WCD Members, Sponsors, and Valued Partners,

After three years of serving as Women Corporate Directors’ Chief Executive Officer, I notified the Board at the beginning of the year that I made the difficult decision to transition out of my role.

It has been an honor to lead WCD’s esteemed global network and to get to know all the incredible women in our membership. During my tenure, I had the unique opportunity to oversee several exciting initiatives, including introducing new programming and member offerings, bringing members back together in person at three Global Institutes and Visionary Awards and a Europe Institute, and growing our global membership by 15 percent.

I have enjoyed the opportunity to connect with our diverse network of members and valued partners immensely, and I look forward to staying in touch with everyone in the years to come.

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to our chapter chairs, global sponsors, and the WCD staff who have all worked so diligently to support WCD’s mission and membership. Working alongside all of you was an honor, and I am confident that your work will continue to propel the organization forward in the years ahead.

In the coming months, WCD’s board of directors will conduct a search for my successor. In the interim, Board Member Mary Beth Vitale will serve as the interim CEO. Through their search, I am confident that the next CEO will share the goal of heightening our global impact and upholding our important mission.
