Our Chief Executive Officer will lead Women Corporate Directors (WCD) into its next chapter by sharpening the value proposition, deepening member engagement and partnerships, and articulating a compelling, multi-year vision for greater relevance and impact.
The next CEO will need to understand corporate directors' needs and expectations, whether through direct board experience or significant exposure to boards and directors, while bringing the executive presence and credibility to serve as a beacon for WCD with members, sponsors, and external partners. Equally important will be the ability to lead through influence: listening to and bringing together a sophisticated global membership, chapter leaders, staff, and partners around a shared ambition.
At a time when the external environment has become more challenging, WCD needs a resilient, optimistic, and strategic leader who sees possibility rather than constraint. The right CEO will respect what has made WCD successful while having the vision, grit, and creativity to reimagine what it can become.
