We are seeking passionate and dedicated leaders to join our Board of Directors. This is a unique opportunity to lend your voice and expertise to the strategic decisions that guide our organization.

When identifying new external board members for the Women Corporate Directors (WCD) Foundation, several skills, capabilities, and personal characteristics should be considered. These criteria ensure that the selected individuals can effectively contribute to the board and further the organization's mission.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Business Connections: A candidate should have extensive business connections
and a willingness to introduce WCD to their networks. - Understanding of Roles: They should understand and respect the differing roles of
the board and management. - Independence Requirements: A nominee should respect the independence
requirements of KPMG. - Advisory Skills: The candidate should be willing and capable of acting as a sounding board
to the CEO. - Strategic Thinking: They should have experience contributing effectively to strategy
discussions and their implementation. - Sponsorship and Development: Experience with sponsorship and development
activities is a plus. - Global Experience: North America-based with global experience is a plus.
- Chapter Leadership: Being a current or previous Chapter Chair or willingness to
serve as a Chapter Chair is also beneficial.
Personal Characteristics:
- Passion for WCD Mission: A strong passion for the mission of WCD is essential.
- Values-Based Leader: The candidate should be a values-based leader.
- Open-Mindedness: Open-mindedness and a willingness to listen to and consider

Graphic Designer
Women Corporate Directors (WCD) seeks a freelance/contract Graphic Designer to join our team. In this role, you will partner closely with a small, high-performing team and gain exposure to an accomplished, globally connected network of senior women executives and corporate directors, all while helping to elevate and advance WCD’s visual presence.
This is a remote, contract position within the United States, and WCD is a virtual team. It is a Florida-based 501(c)(3), so preference is for Eastern Time Zone availability. Hours may fluctuate depending on project deliverables and event schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Template & System Development

- Create branded, editable templates for internal and external use (e.g., marketing materials, PowerPoint decks, briefing documents, reports, event materials).
- Develop scalable design systems that ensure consistency across 50+ chapters.
- Build easy-to-use tools that empower non-design staff to produce on-brand materials.

- Creative Campaign Design

- Produce creative assets for digital and print, including social graphics, invitations, event collateral, newsletters, and email templates.
- Develop original concepts and layouts for campaigns and promotional materials.
- Ensure all materials align with WCD’s brand standards and visual identity.

- Brand Stewardship & Asset Management

- Maintain brand consistency across all channels.
- Organize and manage digital assets and design files for accessibility and future use.
- Make updates and revisions as needed.

- Website and Digital Design

- Make changes as requested to WCD’s WordPress-hosted website, including layout refinements, visual hierarchy improvements, and brand alignment.
- Design web graphics, page layouts, and visual elements that enhance user experience and storytelling.
- Collaborate on content presentation and digital campaign visuals.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience (portfolio required); degree in graphic design or closely related field preferred.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience in designing for both digital and print mediums.
- Demonstrated experience in refreshing or redesigning websites.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating with non-design stakeholders. .
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.
- Strong creativity and attention to detail from concept to final production.
- Self-starter mentality and proactive problem-solving.
- Collaborative team player and flexibility in adjusting to new directions.
Additional Information
- Remote position for candidates in the US; strong preference for Eastern Time Zone
- Competitive hourly wage is based on experience. Please include the desired hourly rate in your application.
